In Pompeii explore the once busy Roman Port before driving up to the volcano of Vesuvio .We will accompany you as far as possible by road and then give you time to reach the rim of the crater on foot , so that you can savour the spectaculalr views from the summit. Vesuvio is home to some excellent wineries, walk through the vineyards and learn all about the grapes and flovours of the wine produced in this fertile land
Pompeii
With most of Pompeii excavated you can wander around this vast site as you could in ancient times.You can stop by the shops, call in the theatre, visit the houses and even read the graffiti on the walls.This is only the beginning, there is so much more to see in this marvellous excavation site. If it is not your first visit here and you have already seen Pompeii, why not visit Herculaneum instead.
Vesuvio
Still towering high above the bay is the volcano of Vesuvio.For those who wish to walk up to the rim, we can take you as far as you can by road and then give you ample time to walk up to the crater, it will take you around 40 mins to walk up, dependent on fitness levels, another 40 minutes to walk down.
For those of you who wish to admire the Volcano from afar, you can do so on your tour of the winery.
Winery
Local famly run wineries abound in the Vesuvio area - this extremely fertile land is home to vines hundreds of years old.Wander through the vineyards and hear all about the production and flavours of the local wines
