July 2009 We were on a cruise that was docking in Naples and we wanted to find a way to see Naples, Sorrento and some of the Amalfi Coast. We didn't want to do this in a large group setting and the private tours were very expensive from the ship. We made our own arrangements with Aldo Limos who met us at the dock in Naples, Italy and then we began our 8 hour tour. What a wonderful day! We went to Sorrento where Aldo dropped us off and we were able to walk around and browse. We then proceeded to tour Positano where we were able to browse the shops.We stopped off for a lunch and I can't begin to tell you how delicious this meal was! Everything was homemade, including the 4 different pastas and bread. We ate and then continued our tour and we ended up back in Naples with a panoramic view of the city. Aldo dropped us off back at the ship in plenty of time to board. The price was fantastic when compared to the prices charged by the ship. Aldo is reliable, speaks English very well and wants you to have a wonderful day. We met him 8 years ago when we were in Sorrento and we took a 1/2 day tour with him. That was a fantastic tour and we thought we'd do another tour with him if he was available. Lucky for us, he operates a tour company now and he was able to provide us with a memorable and outstanding day! It was the best tour we took while on the cruise. Take care of yourselves. July 2009 What a wonderful visit our family had to The Sorento, Amalfi area! Aldo made our visit so special, with his knowledge of the country, food and the diffrent regions! Aldo is a godsend, we will for sure visit the Sorento area again so we could spend time with Aldo and enjoy all the wonderful cuisine he introduced us too! Where ever we venture to in Italy we will for sure make certain that Aldo is our guide. Not only was he our guide but we made a very special friend with him and his lovely family! Our children enjoyed every minute with Aldo he was so full of knowledge and fun, they really enjoyed him so very much!! Chris a special thank you for organizing our very special trip! June 2009 I had to write you as soon as I returned home from our trip. The excursion we booked with you was absolutely THE best we experienced on our 2 week vaction. I am so thankful you were able to provide this wonderful experience for me and my family. We may never get over the fabulous lunch we had! I think I may be correct in my belief that I'm writing Aldo's wife? He was a fabulous guide and wonderful ambassador for your beautiful Amalfi coast and all it has to offer.
