On July 6th we had the pleasure of a tour of Pompeii and Sorrento and the Amalfi coast, Our driver was Lallo and he was fantastic. His knowledge of the local area and information he provided really made the tour so enjoyable. He was always courteous and professional and we will recommend him to anyone we know that is planning to visit this area of Italy.

“Our tour of the Almalfi Coast- the Best!” 5 of 5 starsReviewed July 19, 2014NEW We were met at the pier by Tony when we got off the Celebrity Reflection who was friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the entire area. We spent 8 hours touring Sorrento, Amalfi, Ravello and Postitano and had the best time of the entire trip! Tony even took us to an authentic Italian restaurant where no tourist s ever go up in the hills overlooking the Isle of Capri. And since we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary he surprised us with an anniversary cake he bought himself for dessert! He gave us plenty of time to explore each town on our own and even took pictures of us at all the beautiful locations. He made the tour special and I would highly recommend Aldo Limos to everyone thinking of a private tour. And don't worry..we got back to the ship with time to spare!

Hi Christina We just wanted to say thank you again for a wonderful tour on Friday. It certainly was the highlight of our trip! Michael was excellent! His knowledge of the area is outstanding, we certainly learnt a lot! He was also very professional, friendly and funny! We loved seeing the area and I fell in love with Positano! Thank you also for accommodating the last minute transfer request which was also great! You and Aldo certainly have a great business with a lovely personal touch, it was a pleasure to meet you both along with our fabulous drivers. We are now back home dreaming of Sorrento! We enjoyed a very, very full day along the Amalfi Coast with our driver and guide, Bruno last summer! What a wonderful day! Bruno was awesome! So knowlegable with perfect English. Loved his sense of humor also! Took us up to a little out-of-the way restaurant high above Ravello where Momma and Papa were cooking! Great vino by the way - They make the house wine themselves. Communication with Christina was very prompt. Gratzie, gratzie, gratzie Aldo's Limos! Would not hesitate to use their services again. It was a perfecto day!

Hi Christina, My wife Helen and myself just wanted to say thank you for a wonderful trip. Salvatore, our driver, was extremely courteous, efficient and helpful. He was also a wonderful driver!!! We really enjoyed our time with him as he was very knowledgeable and stopped at some wonderful photo opportunities. His recommendation for lunch at Ravello was also a great choice. Hello Aldo, I’m not sure if you remember me, we toured with you 2 years ago, my son and daughter-in-law. We were recommended by the Freidman’s in Miami. Our trip with you was TERRIFIC!. We are going to Paris this summer and would like to know if you have any recommendation or know who we may call to provide a similar service. I realize you are the best, so I understand if they are almost as good.

Buon giorno, Aldo and Chris. Now that I am back home I needed to thank you for the wonderful time we had while in Sorrento. From the train station in Naples, where Aldo waited patiently for our arrival to the last day when Pasquale drove us back to Naples, everything was perfect! Their driving skills are excellent! When Aldo picked us up in Naples he drove us to Pompeii where we explored some of the ruins. The following day, we had our tour of the Amalfi Coast, a visit to Ravello, Positano and then the town of Amalfi. Aldo knew I wanted to taste the delicious figs and he made a stop along the way and made that happen too. Our lunch was fantastic! It seems Aldo knows everyone including the restaurant owners. His choices of places for lunch, dinner, etc. are always superb! It was so great touring with you once again. Chris, it was so nice to be able to spend some time with you-even though you were working. When I return you can be certain I will be contacting you before my arrival. Mille grazie!

Picture is Big Tony and my Sue. Tony was a perfect gentleman, very knowledgable and friendly. He is also a suburb driver on tiny roads. He was always on time and gave us tremendous flexibility; he would take us anywhere we wanted. I told him I wanted a real Italian restaurant, where the locals go, and it was the best food I had on the Amalfi coast! We went from Positano to Salerno in an immaculate car and had a great time! Thanks to our travel agent we found Aldo and are very glad we did.

We currently stayed at La Minervetta in Sorrento. Where your driver, Tonino Esposito picked us up for a day tour of the Amalfi coast. From the first moment we met him we knew we were going to enjoy our day. Well, that was an understatement. Tony ,gave us a wonderful feeling like we were family. He goes above and beyond in all aspects of professionalism and making you feel comfortable. He truly had our best interests at heart. He is a fine man and we thoroughly enjoyed the day. “A Perfect Memory to Cherish Always!!!” Pending review Just returned from a wonderful holiday that had us visit Spain, France and Italy. One day was dedicated to visiting the picture perfect Amalfi Coast and we were told about Aldo Limos. From the very beginning as I exchanged emails with Christina, I knew the experience was going to be something awesome. The trip included my parents of 70 years in age, my two daughters 11 & 14, along with my wife and I. The actual day blew our expectations away. Aldo himself (owner) was our tour guide for the day. He picked us up from our Cruise ship in a beautiful and comfortable Mercedes van that provided us with fantastic comfort throughout the 8 hour tour. He brought us to so many wonderful towns along the Amalfi Coast while he shared his impressive knowledge of the area and the history of those area's. Not only did he follow the previously aligned upon tour day but he also adjusted to allow us with some flexibility we sought (a dip in the Ocean along the way). In addition, he took us to a wonderful restaurant for lunch (trattoria La Tagliata). This was the most impressive view of the coats in a incredible Italian setting lunch. This memory will be carved in all of our memories for the rest of our lives. In short, Aldo Limos was nothing short of perfect. Anyone looking for an awesome tour of the Amalfi Coats needs to look up Aldo Limos. If you do, your day will be perfect and one of the most memorable ones of your life. Christina, Aldo, Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

He and I were discussing a book that I had read about southern Italians who left Italy and settled in the US. I told him I would send him the title and author of the book. The book is by Paul Paolicelli, and the title is Under the Southern Son: Stories of the Real Italy and the Americans It Created. If you would give him this information I would appreciate it. We also wanted to let you know we loved your restaurant recommendations. The Garden was one of the highlights of our trip. Just want you to know that our day trip to St. Philomena's sanctuary in Mugnano del Cardinale exceeded our expectations! Aldo himself drove for us--in a luxuriously comfortable Mercedes van. He was big-hearted and impeccably dressed and he went the extra mile for us, acting as our translator (so we could communicate with the Rector of the shrine who spoke only Italian) and trusty guide. He had the amazing knack of knowing exactly what would make us happy--definitely an extraordinary gift! Instead of driving to Sorrento, we escaped the heat and traffic and enjoyed a slice of non-touristy life in the region. Forget the Pompeii ruins--we were treated to a FEAST instead--the best meal we had in Italy--and a bargain at Ten euros per head: lasagna, gnocchi, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, roasted peppers and aubergines, freshly-baked bread, a pitcher of peach infused white wine, perfect tiramisu and a shot of frozen cold Limoncello to boot: Unbelievable! Then we we experienced something much much better than Starbucks--espresso as it should be served, starting out with a shot of sparkling water to cleanse the palate and ending with slightly sweetened gold down our throats! Unforgettable! Then he brought us to shopping heaven--an regular non-touristy mall, where no one spoke English and every gorgeous thing was on sale--the ordinary made extraordinary for us. In short, Aldo was professional, punctual, warm and personal and in fact, he was a blessing! We truly felt that his sincere desire to make Naples memorable for us--and if truth be told, this trip topped all our other shore excursions booked through you! Thank you for your help. Just wanted to drop you a note and say what a wonderful day we had with Pasquale last week. The guy is A-MAZ-ING!! My sons were not really expecting much of the day - they were coming along because I wanted to visit the Amalfi Coast and they both agreed Pasquale made the day for them - he was 'sick'!! High praise indeed from a 15 and 17 year old!! He was so knowledgeable about the area and we discussed everything from football to his young son with Limoncello, Vesuvius eruptions and Italian 'quirks' thrown in for good measure!! We were given time where we needed it and when we asked for a shorter or longer amount of time then Pasquale was more than happy to oblige. It was certainly one of the highlights of our 12 night cruise
